Forestry and Woodland Management Advice

Enviroscope’s Chartered Forester produces management plans to guide the future management of your woodlands. Management plans are based on discussion to establish your objectives and aspirations for your land. These may include the conservation and enhancement of timber production, sporting use, wildlife and landscape.

We use accurate GPS and laser measuring equipment to carry out woodland surveys and GIS forestry mapping. We provide inventories of timber volume and provide estimates of yield to inform woodland management planning or valuations in advance of timber sales.

We carry out surveys of woodland biodiversity using our ecological consultants to identify opportunities for the enhancement and restoration of ancient woodland, and constraints arising from the presence of protected species. Find out more about our ecology services...

Where required, we can also seek grants or apply for Felling Licences on behalf of our clients. We can also tender work, arrange timber sales, and supervise contractors carrying out woodland management and forestry operations. We are independent of any contracting service or timber user, and will act to obtain the best value and quality of work for our clients.
